Editorial Policy
GamingOptinLab publishes research, not marketing. No vendor or operator can pay for coverage, review a page before publication or ask for a change other than a correction of fact.
Independence
We accept no payment, commission, free licenses, gifts or sponsored placements from software vendors or gambling operators. We do not run advertising or affiliate links. The owner's commercial interests are stated on the disclosure page.
Sources
We follow the steps in our research methodology: primary sources first, exact quotations, scoped claims and dated citations. Secondary sources are labeled as secondary on every page that uses them.
AI tools
We use AI tools to help search for sources, organize notes and prepare drafts. Amelia Foster, who writes and edits the site, checks every quotation, date and rule against the original source before a page is published, and is responsible for what it says.
Corrections
Report an error through the contact page with the page address and the source that shows the correct fact. We check the report against the source. Confirmed errors are corrected, the page's update date changes, and significant corrections are noted at the end of the page.
Software coverage
Our coverage of CRM and marketing tools follows the evaluation method: published tests, no scores.
What we will not publish
- Rankings, scores or reviews of named products.
- Statistics, studies or results we cannot source.
- Testimonials, invented quotes or invented people.
- Advice on reaching people who have self-excluded, or on getting around consent or safer gambling rules.
- Promotion of gambling to players.
